Ncibijani Madlala did not start as an actor. In a bid to make ends meet, he had to start working early in life. After his matric, he got involved in cabinet making and later got employed at a call center. However, the call of the entertainment world was so strong that Madlala had to succumb and give it a trial. Before venturing into acting, he spent a couple of years in training at an MNM talent agency.
The South African entertainer achieved his break-out role during the second season of Mtunzini.com – an SABC1 drama series where he was cast as Samkelo in 2008. He was on hand for the reprisal of his role in the third season.
