Hipolito was glad that things were now going smoothly for him. He would now go against Valmoria. He even wondered who saved Lito from Enrique. He called Lito but Valmoria failed to pick his calls. He reasoned that Lito was plotting against him but he believed Lito would not survive since he was a mere businessman.

Cassandra went to see Mariano in his room and found Ellen leaving. Ellen gave Cassandra weird looks when Mariano asked her if she brought his schedule. Ellen stepped out and Cassandra began to tease Mariano. Mariano did not have the strength to go down with her so he evaded her advances.

Cassandra did not wish to share and warned Mariano against that. Ambo came in to save the day. Cassandra left and Ambo had a talk with Mariano about the two women. Mariano confessed that Cassandra showed up after he had an affair with Ellen. He was already exhausted so he turned down Cassandra. Ambo could not believe that he had done that.

He asked who among the two women that he would choose. Bro Pres said he could not afford to drop any of the two because Ellen was like wine and was cool to the throat when one sipped her down. Cassandra, he described as feisty and would want you for more so he made that decision never to let go of any of them.

Ambo wished to be in his shoes to jostle in between two women. Mariano proposed he go for Elizabeth but Ambo held back. Ambo wondered who among them would be the first lady. This became something for Mariano to ponder. Ellen, on the other side, went to see Renato.

Hipolito saw her in full spirit and wondered what had elated her spirit. Ellen explained that she only listened to his advice to pursue what she wanted.
All that she would do now was to get the blackmailer out of her way. Renato knew Ellen could do it.

He gave her a heads-up that if Lily was behind that blackmail, she would now make it intense so she should deal with it as he had other matters to take care of. He believed in Ellen’s potential the very moment she approached him for his assistance and believed she could deal with Lily.

Elsewhere, Lily told Augustus that she would be leaving the palace more frequently to plan Renato’s downfall with Lito Valmoria so he should take care of things in the palace. She also planned not to expose Ellen at the moment since Arturo’s mind was now centered on getting revenge on Cardo and if she told him about his golddigger wife’s affair, he would be disheartened.

She wanted Cassandra to deal with Ellen and at the right time, she would expose Ellen’s affair with Mariano to Arturo. Cassandra called Lily over the phone to give her an update about her situation with Mariano. Lily urged her not to stop blackmailing and her niece assured to intensify her actions to snatch Mariano from the hands of Ellen.

She also told her that she would not stay in the palace more often since she was planning on how to get Hipolito from the palace. Cardo planned a surprise attack on Lito and set Roxanne and Diana to stay back to watch over Delfin. The rest of the injured comrades vowed to be with Cardo so that if they had to diê, they would diê as a group.

Unbeknownst, the black ops had still erected checkpoints and Albert was hellbent on finding Cardo to save Lia. His colleagues wanted him to rest since the matter had become so personal to him. Mariano went down for dinner but it was cold since he did not go early. Elizabeth even thought he would no longer eat.

Elizabeth heated it and Mariano sent Ambo to fetch Cassandra to join him. Ambo did what he was told and when Cassandra joined him, she removed one of her shoes to rob her leg on the President. Elizabeth spotted what she was doing. Ellen equally got there since she was not ready to let her guard down for Cassandra to snatch.

She joined them on the table and Cassandra was not stopping at anything. She was spoon-feeding the President which got Ellen so jealous and she threw a glass of water on Cassandra. Mariano ordered Elizabeth to go with Cassandra to help her change. Mariano sent Ellen to his room and questioned her why she intentionally did that to Cassandra.

Ellen reminded him of their morning affair and told Mariano that if he wanted more of that, then he should leave Cassandra. She then walked out to her husband’s office. Arturo marveled at the swings of moods his wife was exhibiting, because in the morning she looked worried and in the evening, she looked like nothing ever happened.

Watching his comrades sleeping, Cardo wondered if he was doing the right thing to engage his comrades in his revenge. He wondered about the number of lives he had to sacrifice for his revenge. He was pacing around when Jerome came to hold him. He knew Cardo was thinking that was the reason he could not sleep. He knew the group would get over their problems.

Lia in a room with her sister apologised for ruining the peace of the family. She was fully aware that Audrey and Amelia chose the doctor profession because they wanted peace but now she has compromised that peace. Audrey made it clear that the family was willing to sacrifice for her because they were happy for her return.

She explained that seeing Cardo he did not look like a bad person. Lia explained that there was a powerful person behind Cardo’s case. She explained that Cardo was behaving that way because the black ops killëd his wife. Audrey asked Lia if she did that and she said it was Albert but she did not want Cardo to know.

She strongly believed that Cardo might k!// Albert if he knew the truth. Audrey understood Cardo and his actions. Lia then told her sister that after that incident that she was kidnapped, she had not spoken with Albert. She revealed that she caught Albert in bed with Andrea, her best friend. Audrey then expressed her hatred for Albert.

She claimed she never liked Albert as he was hotty, full of himself, and arrogant. She advised Lia not to be with Albert again. Lia took her advice but she explained that she did not want to get separated from him since they had dated for a long but now she would end things with him.

After Elizabeth helped Cassandra change her clothes, she asked Cassandra questions concerning her actions to arouse the president and asked her why she did that. Cassandra interjected that she did not answer to her and she should let her be. She walked out on Elizabeth.

The following day, Lily went to see Mr Valmoria in the house she gave Lito. She made it clear that she knew Lito and how he even got rid of his enemies by burying them alive in a trunk. She was also aware of Lito and Mr Damien’s issue. She then went ahead to explain that she helped him because they had a common enemy Renato.

Lily revealed that she owned the drug lab that the drugs for the business came from but Renato betrayed him. Aside from Renato, Cardo was also her enemy. Lito realised it was a small world as he also disclosed that Cardo stole Alyana from him and wanted revenge. He accepted Lily’s alliance to go against their enemies.
