Haider Akhtar is a wealthy businessman who is married to Dua, a kind woman. Their lives take a turn when they meet an outspoken woman, Ghazal, who befriends Dua but clashes with Haider.

Ruhaan (Haider’s half-brother) falls for Ghazal. Ghazal’s house is destroyed by an earthquake and Haider and Dua offer her shelter in their own house. Ghazal falls in love with Haider but tries to forget him for Dua’s sake. Hina (Haider’s mother) reveals to Dua that Saqib (Ghazal’s father) had saved the life of an eight-year-old Haider, but Hina was responsible for the death of Zeenat (Ghazal’s mother) when Ghazal was an infant. Before dying of cancer, Saqib had proposed Haider and Ghazal’s marriage but Hina had declined.

Gulnaaz (Ruhaan’s mother) brainwashes Ghazal against Hina and Dua. Upon learning that Hina was responsible for her mother’s death, Ghazal pretends to have forgiven Hina but vows revenge. Hina, witnessing Ghazal’s kindness, begins to develop a special fondness for her.

When Dua discovers Ghazal’s grudge against Hina, she attempts to evict her from the house. Ghazal lies to Ruhaan that she loves him too and their alliance is fixed. Ghazal manipulates Ruhaan into believing that she and Haider are having an affair and thus Ruhaan runs away on the wedding day with Dua’s help. Ghazal gets Ruhaan abducted.

Dua is blamed for Ruhaan’s escape. Ghazal reveals to Haider that Hina was responsible for her parents’ death, and contemplates ending her own life. Out of guilt, Haider marries Ghazal. Ghazal creates several rifts between Hina and Dua. Ruhaan is rescued and brought back home. After a series of events, Ghazal is exposed.

Both Ghazal and Dua are revealed to be pregnant. The Akhtar family lodges a complaint against Ghazal and the police start searching her. Ghazal leaves the house and goes into hiding, thus concealing her pregnancy from everyone.

8 months later Dua’s baby shower ceremony is interrupted by Ghazal who reveals her pregnancy and demands her rights. Dua decides to raise and love Ghazal’s child as her own child. Hamida, Hina, and Gulnaaz try to kill Ghazal’s unborn child but Dua protects it. Kaynaat’s hatred grows against Ghazal’s unborn child and she abducts Ghazal and tries to kill her.

However, Dua and Haider rescue Ghazal in time. Ghazal goes into labor while the rest of the family members are away. Due to some riots, all the roads to the hospital get blocked, due to which Dua has to do Ghazal’s delivery.

Ghazal delivers a daughter, whom Dua names “Ibaadat”. Shortly thereafter, Dua to delivers a daughter who is named “Mannat”.
